We are a family orientated softball club where many members of the same family play throughout the many grades that represent us on the field. The club has been in operation for the past 10 years and we have been associated with the Sharks Sports Trust for the past 4 years. This association has put us as a softball club in a position of envy with many of the other clubs as we are one of only a couple of clubs that have their own club rooms to call home at Victor Eves Park in Orewa.

There are a couple of reasons why this softball club was started back in 1997 by former President Steven Ellison. 1) For the youth of Rodney to have another sport to choose from than the normal summer sports available at the time. 2) For the many softball lovers who also live in the greater Rodney district to have a Softball club in their area that they could represent. Plus cost can also be a major factor in allowing our children to play a sport at all and softball is one of the cheapest full season sports that you can play.

In the past three years our membership has grown to the extent that we are one of the fastest growing clubs playing in the North Harbour Softball Association at Rosedale Park in Albany.

The grades that we cater for range from our junior sides "un8s, un10s T Ball, un11s, un13s, un15s",

The senior sides start from the "Under 17/19’s Boys/Girls, Division 1 Men / Women and Division 3 Men/Women.
